Prejudice


I had an incident where my sisters and I were told to move, by a manager. This manager never asked us in a nice gesture. Instead she used hands gesture as if we did not understand English. We were embarrassed and humiliated. The hand gesture she used were two thumbs facing the back. This manager went on to use hands yet again to shew us away. In all my year I have never been disrespected by anyone. The simple fact that we are regular customers who buy Products on a daily base at this location baffles me. No one should be treated like they're nothing. This prejudice act should have never taken place and till today this manager has not apologize although other managers who work there did. Sephora needs to do better so that other will not receive the same treatment we did. We were simply sitting down in the make up studies area waiting for one of their other staff to come back with a sample she was getting for us. If lack of communication between the two worker was the problem, we still should have not been ordered to move from the area via hand gestures that made us look like we were nothing. Please work on how you treat your customers. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity. I will never forget this day.
