Practically ignored by staffs at the Sephora store today

Today I went to a Sephora store and was practically ignored by all the staffs there except for one. The only one who bothered asking if I needed help was the lady working at the cash register. She asked me if I needed help so I told her I would like some samples of the Nars foundation. She then told me to bring her the foundations that I wanted samples of because she can't step away from the cash register. Minutes later, she was swamped by customers purchasing things and completely forgot about me. Which is fine because I understand that she has a job to do. What I don't understand is why all the other staffs proceeded to ignore me. Every aisle I walked to, the staffs walked away to help other people who came into the store much later than I did. It was like I was virtually invisible to everyone. I don't know if it was because I walked in with a bare face and the staff was profiling on whether I would buy something or because I was Asian and they were being racist. I know I am making big assumptions but when you are the only Asian and everyone gets helped but you, it makes you wonder. That being said, I don't want to walk into another Sephora store ever again. I'm taking my business elsewhere.

Honestly it was probably the lack of makeup. I am honestly as pale white as they come and I will be utterly ignored if I do not have makeup on. I ended up finding a store about an hour drive away that has an absolutely fantastic man working for them who's makeup is on point and makes it a point to ask every customer how he can help them and compliments every customer for what he likes about them. If I need help I know I have to drive out there or spend an hour on my makeup. It is one of my biggest pet peeves about Sephora, but Shoppers has horrible selection and we don't have Ulta in Canada yet so I have Sephora for my nice makeup.
