Poof! No more Beauty Insider points!??

I’ve purchased hardly anything from Sephora in the last many years (2-3) ….many reasons for this, Covid, loss of my job, divorce ….all things everyone is dealing with! Still tho, the thousands of beauty insider points I had accumulated were from all the times I DID purchase items from Sephora. I was saving these to be able to earn one of the larger rewards, and I was to a place where that could happen!

 I kinda forgot about my points tho, until I logged into my account today with the goal of getting some perfume, and ALL of my points are gone! There isn’t even a place I can find historical information, …it’s as if my years of earning points never existed.
I’m so bummed - I wasn’t aware that Sephora could delete points at random? My account itself seems fine and is intact, yet I was never notified this was happening. Does anyone know if this was a Sephora wide policy, or did I get hacked?

I've made purchases all year long in 2024, but today I've suddenly had 500 points taken away.  It's showing I have 62, a weird random number.  Just a week ago I had enough for a $10 discount.

So I’m a stoopid head, I discovered that points do expire unless you purchase something within a given calendar year, … since I can’t look up my past orders I can’t really check that this was the case - tho it likely was 😞

, I’ll prolly just shop at ulta all the time now, they don’t have as many posh brands, but they’re less expensive overall and treat their paying customers very well  by constantly sending coupons and promotions

Activity is considered redeeming a Rewards Bazaar item, claiming your Beauty Insider birthday gift or simply making a purchase on Sephora.com while logged into your account or at any Sephora location within the US or Canada and providing your Beauty Insider account information at checkout. You’re SORRY?!? This is DISGUSTING!!! I will NOT BE SHOPPING at your store ever again!! I have been a loyal customer for YEARS! This is disrespectful to your customers. When was this put into place? If we pay the money to earn the points, they should be there until we use them. We don’t get our money back so why should you get your points back? Welcome to America!!! You lost me as a customer and many people I know as well. Great job Sephora!!
