Policy vs. family death

I sent an email twice in June to complain about this but i heard nothing. I saw this board so I decided to air my grievances. I bought the Dyson air wrap in March but I had hardly used it due to never being at my apartment because I had to take care of sick family at home. Unfortunately i finally got to use it and see my dissatisfaction after the 60 day window to the day-when my family passed away. I called the special VIB hotline crying just asking for a little kindness and grace to overlook the 60 days to see if I can receive store credit - they treated me like I was trying to pull a fast one on them told me its over 60 days so I have to deal with it.
