Points gone?!

Okay, seriously Sephora? I have been shopping with this company, like I'm sure many of your customers, since I could buy makeup as a young teenager.

 

I haven't been buying much in the last year or so because of the pandemic (both for financial reasons, and hi hello where am I going where I need to wear makeup these days??). I am extremely upset and disappointed to see that my rewards points have "expired" because of inactivity. Like many others I was under the impression that these points do not expire ever. This is such a terrible and stupid policy. I have been saving those points for literally years. I don't remember how many I had, but I was close to 1000 I believe.

 

This kind of policy should really be reconsidered, especially given the impact that the pandemic has had on many individuals. Looks like I will be taking my business elsewhere. Y'all just lost a pretty loyal customer.

Hi @slr1991,

 

Your points only expire if your account is completely inactive for 12 months. If you make a purchase, redeem points or your birthday gift once every 12 months, your points will continue to roll over. I will look into this for you and send you a PM.
