Points disappeared

Hi, I, like others, just noticed my points have disappeared.  Had I been notified this was going to happen, I would have happily made a purchase within the 12 months to make sure I kept my points.  Is there any way I could get the points reinstated?  Then, I'll make sure I'm making purchases to keep my points. Thanks!
