Points disappeared!?

So today i made a large purchase only to discover that all the points i have saved up are gone... i can't recall exactly how many but over 1000 im sure. They were just gone, and in its place a notice saying if i signed up for the points program i could get the 298 points from my purchase, but after about 10 attempts to sign up it just wasn't working. So not only have i lost all my points but some weird glitch wont let me re-sign up so now i've lost out on todays 298 points as well. Does this mean i cannot get my old points back, todays points, or future points??? Hoping somebody knows whats going on!

Well the good news is that this literally just happened to me as well. I think it's a website update or something, I emailed their Customer Service team, so just know you are not alone!!!

I apologize for the confusion. The system that tracks our Beauty Insider program points and subscriptions was down for a short time for maintenance. You should be able to view your account now. Points for any purchases made during the maintenance should be updated in your account within the next 48 hours. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

phew that's a relief! I have been saving my points up for something big and had a mini heart attack when i saw them gone! I see they have been returned now, thank-you for the response!
