Points are ridiculous

Am I the only one who finds the point system useless? They never have anything I want or can get. And the only time the have something I might be interested in it’s sold out?! How have they not made it so you can use it to buy products you actually want?

Points are ridiculous

Sephora points are proving to be absolutely worthless, in my opinion. Approaching 10K points and I can't ever use them. We shouldn't have to set alarms and sit and camp the website every Tuesday and Thursday just to have next to zero chance at redeeming them. This past Tuesday, I actually had the chance to be on the site in time, put a gift card in cart, clicked to checkout immediately...the card was already sold out. I mean, come on. This program needs some severe adjusting, because now I shop elsewhere, when I can, before Sephora, solely because of the rewards programs. At the very least, there shouldn't be any announced times or days for new rewards. But an overhaul to the program would be preferable.

Re: Points are ridiculous

Hi @Moguri,

I am so sorry to hear that you have had trouble redeeming a reward of your choice. We are continuing to evolve our Beauty Insider program and our Rewards Bazaar over time and we appreciate this feedback. I will forward this feedback to the appropriate Team for review and consideration so improvements can be made in the future. Thank you!

Best,
Rebecca

Re: Points are ridiculous

Hi @ickysfat,

I'm sorry for the trouble with redeeming! I understand that rewards are an exciting addition to your orders and I apologize for any disappointment. Please be sure to check back on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. PST as new rewards are added. Thank you!

Best regards,

Laurie

Re: Points are ridiculous

Enough with the useless platitudes. Why should we check back every Tuesday and Thursday to see "rewards" we can't get? If you want to create competition and frenzy over rewards, they should be ones offered for free, not ones you have to essentially pay for with loyalty points. It suggests Sephora doesn't actually value customer loyalty.
