Please consider space for introverted customers

Hi Sephora,

 

When I come in the store to shop, I need space and time to think things through! Iโ€™m investing a lot of money into these products and I want to be left alone!! Iโ€™m an informed shopper and I donโ€™t want any help.

 

if I need help I will ask. 

 

Nothing about my body language indicated I wanted any help at your Calabasas, CA location today. Yet, I was rudely interrupted 5 times in about 10 minutes. 

 

Idk if you train your staff to ask questions to prevent theft, but once is ENOUGH!!! It was completely obnoxious to be interrupted repeatedly. 

There should be some consideration to more introverted and/or informed customers. I REALLY prefer NOT to be bothered. 

There are times I have needed to straight up leave the store because I couldnโ€™t freaking think straight without getting bothered, EXCESSIVELY!! Itโ€™s useless for me if I canโ€™t take my space to think. And then, I leave frustrated because I couldnโ€™t take my time to samples and investigate and compare different products.

Please teach your staff to be considerate of introverted and independent customers. I understand the need to prevent theft (if thatโ€™s the reasoning).. but one greeting is ENOUGH. 

I wonder how much business you lose with introverted artists like myself because of your very annoying staff.
