Paying with a Visa gift card

I have a Visa gift card to use as (partial) payment.  Has anyone else used one of these with Sephora?  I tried it online - no luck.  I called customer service and the rep said she didn't know if the Visa gift card could be used.  And she left it at that.  So, I'm researching it on my own.  These Visa gift cards are not new technology.  Anyone know the if a Visa gift card can be used?

I'm really sorry to hear about your phone experience! We do accept Visa Gift Cards as a form of payment on our website. But please note, it must cover the full amount of the order and you must register a temporary billing address to the card.

My gift card covered well over the amount and still doesnt work.

@Juju38 It must also be registered to a temporary billing address. If it is still not working, I recommend using an alternate form of payment if possible. Thank you.

If you pay with a visa gift card does it HAVE to be the full amount of the gift card to work or cpuld i jist use half of the gift card

If it doesn't cover the full balance, I believe you would need to use a Sephora gift card or e-gift card to cover the remaining balance. You would not be able to use the Visa Gift Card and another Credit/Debit card in the same order.
