Package missing

Hi today my package was supposed to be delivered and the tracking says it’s delivered but the package is missing.. I was home all day and there was no sign of anybody knocking at the door or so and it says that package is delivered outside the front door but nothing was there. This has never ever happened before... I ordered a gift for my hubby’s birthday which is next week and now this has happened...I’m really sad and upset... kindly revert back... Thanks in advance.
