PROBLEMS with the 2,500 point $100 reward

Hi everyone,

 

I'm having big problems with the 2,500 point exchange for the $100 reward. Last Tuesday, I jumped on Sephora's app right at 9am pst and successfully added it to my cart. I waited 24 hours to receive the code via email and never did. I waited another day just in case, still nothing. I checked all my spam/junk folders and it wasn't there either. So I emailed Sephora's customer service and they are not understanding me and are giving the worst, most basic generic answers and they just told me to try again. The worst part is that I even had proof (a screenshot) that I successfully added it to my cart and they wont even give me a real response, just generic ones. SO I did it again today, and I know it does say to give it 24 hours for a response, but it has been 3 hours since I added it to my cart(3 hours since 9am pst) and I just have ZERO faith that it will work seeing as Sephora's CS team wasn't even willing to help me at all. I screenshotted it again today to prove that I have it in my cart. Can someone help me out with this?

I had the same thing happen to me ! (and I hit the check out button to get the code) my points were taken and I checked out with products in my cart as well with the 100$ voucher.. I tried 3 times and then all of a sudden the voucher was out of stock. and my points were still gone !! so I complained and got my points back but they just said I "wasn't fast enough"...

@kendracus Hope I am not pointing out something obvious but you have to go through the checkout in order to get the code. Just adding it in the cart is like adding any product without placing the order. Does that make sense?

girl oh my gosh that makes SO much sense. honestly thank you for pointing out the obvious because I was SO confused. I completely get it now. Of course, I missed my chance again today but I'll do it again Thursday. The Sephora customer service team never explained anything like that to me. So you're already better then them haha.
