Overnight Shipping

I ordered two items as a gift for someone and chose overnight shipping. The original order was cancelled by Sephora due to "previous member activity" as stated by the customer service representative. Since this was my first order and checked out as a guest this made no sense to the customer service representative or myself. He assisted me in reordering the items. Assured me that my overnight shipping would still apply. Upon checking my order status the next day the estimated delivery date had changed to reflect the following date. I understood that was probably due to the fact that the original order was cancelled and resubmitted. But I check the order status the following day and now see that it is set for Monday, four days after the original order that was placed on Wednesday. It was explained by the customer service representative that the order needs to be in by a certain time frame in order to meet overnight shipping, if that is the case then why am I receiving a estimated shipping date of Monday. Based on that explanation my items should be received by Friday. When I ask that question I am told that the processing will take 1-2 business days and at that point my item will be shipped overnight. Simply put, the two explanations contradict each other. This is my first time ordering with this company and my purchase price was a little over $250 with shipping and tax costs. I do not have a need to order these types of products for myself as a man but I have women in my life that I do make these types of purchases for as gifts. I don't think I will be ordering from this company again unless I receive some sort of resolution to my problem that was created entirely by Sephora. Hopefully they value their customers and are as put off as I am concerning my FIRST experience with them.
