Out of Stock

Hi,

 

I ordered the Huda Beauty Lip Contour set yesterday. However, today it is showing as out of stock. My order status says it is in progress. Will I get this item or not as I've already paid full price for it.

Hi @Anonymous,

@RoseCharlie and @Qteepiec are correct! We will always notify you if an item has been removed from your order because it is out of stock and we will not charge you for that item. If it is out of stock on the product page that means that it is currently unavailable for future orders. If you haven't received an email from us about an item being removed then you should still receive it! I hope that this clarifies, let me know if you have any further questions.

@Anonymous  Hiya! : ) So i'm obviously not a mod or anything but I can only share my own experience and how I interpret that situation.  Again - this is just my personal experience and opinion I can't claim any special inside knowledge.  One of the items I had ordered November 6th was reading "in progress" until November 11th when it finally shipped but shortly after I purchased it, it went "out of stock" and was listed as "out of stock" on my account order form but I see that the package finally shipped ok... The ETA for delivery on my tracking for that Nov. 6th order is this coming wednesday so I won't be able to fully confirm until then i guess.  I'm in Canada and it looks like shipping is delayed because of the sale and maybe there is also a canada post delay because they normally don't take that long to deliver once they have the package and they are responsible for part of the delay.  But I just wanted to share that because I am under the impression that an out of stock status if it comes after your purchase is probably only an indication that the item went out of stock after you purchased it but that you should still be good since you're in the cue and effectively saved on of the items while it was "in stock".  I guess though that it's possible for an inventory mistake to be made but I would cross that bridge when you get to it - for the time being it is likely to ship to you but it's probably that the shipping is being delayed because of the sale.

It may have been out of stock after you purchased it. I've looked at my order status to find items sold out that I bought. For the most part I did get the items. Two recent occasions I didn't. One they immediately emailed me to say they're sorry and the other one, I had to contact CS because it was missing from my package, They responded that it was sold out send refunded me.
