Out of Stock Items

If an item is out of stock I wish the website would reflect the item is out of stock. I ordered the Marc Jacobs Eyeshadow Palette in Frivoluxe a few days ago. Yesterday I get a notice that my order has been canceled due to it being out of stock.. If that is the case, would someone please update the site to reflect it being out of stock!!! It is still showing in stock. I get over not getting samples in my orders time and time again, I understand delayed shipping due to holiday back ups, but placing an order thinking an item is in stock only to find out it isn’t in stock a few days later just annoys me to no end.

Thank you! Ironically, for grins and giggles, while I was placing another order yesterday (4th), I put the MJ palette back in my cart, (the same one that was cancelled on the 2nd and told it was out of stock), and it shipped and will arrive today...
