Order two weeks late, no end in sight, brushed off/repeatedly told to call back by Customer Service.

I placed an order on 10/31; it's now 11/14, and there's still not even an *estimated* delivery date (only a USPS status that they're "awaiting carrier pickup," which is what it's said for two weeks). I've called customer service several times and each time they've told me there's nothing they can do, and that I should wait a few days and call back (which is a pretty upsetting and time-wasting tactic, if I'm just going to be told the same thing every time I call! Seems like they've been trained to do this to get the customer off the phone as quickly as possible). This was a really costly order that may now arrive during the Thanksgiving holiday, when I'm away and unable to attend to my packages (if it ever comes). The charge is on my card, there's no recourse, and there's no end in sight. This just seems bananas to me.
