Order stuck on Pre-Shipment

I ordered an item on March 2nd and paid for the standard 3 day shipping. When I ordered the website said that it would arrive on the 5th. On the 3rd I get an email that it shipped which excited me but it didn’t have the delivery date estimate like it usually does. I check the tracking number and it says it’s in pre shipment. I don’t think much of it but I am excited about my product so the next day I check again. And it still says it’s in pre shipment with no updates and no delivery date. It is now the 5th and I haven’t received the package yet (although it is early in the morning and I’m holding out hope) and USPS/Sephora still says it’s in pre-shipment with no updates and no delivery date. This has never happened to me before and I’m concerned my package has been lost and I’m wondering if anyone has experienced anything like this before? Is my package on it’s way? Will it get here today like promised? Or is it lost? 😞

UPDATE 2: It now says it will get here on the 7th. So it will be 2 days late. This is honestly so disappointing Sephora is usually so good about their shipping. It almost makes me want shop elsewhere.

UPDATE: I just checked again and it is now saying that it will arrive on the 6th (a day late) and there is now shipping info.
