Order stuck in pre shipping

I have ordered a frangrance on oct.11 and it claimed it shipped the 13th but it says “Pre-Shipment Info Sent to USPS, USPS Awaiting Item” and I have not had any tracking updates since and I’ve read that pre shipping packages get lost a lot and I’m just worried I won’t get my product cause I don’t see how it could not go from Sephora to atleast being received at usps and me getting an tracking update help please
