Order recieved; no free samples

I recieved my order that was placed on December 23rd; however there were no free samples included which I selected at the checkout. I was wondering why they're missing.

i have ordered 4 different purchases within the last month. i have only gotten like 3 samples all together, as well. why do they say u will receive 3 free samples, when sometimes you get none at all?
