Order didn’t go through, card charged.

On September 2nd, I made an order, it didn’t go through. It still shows it did on my debit card though. How do I fix this?

Re: Order didn’t go through, card charged.

Hi @BakesDanielle,

The amount from Sephora.com that you see on your credit card or debit account is a  temporary authorization from the order that did not go through. Your financial institution will release these funds back into your account within 1 to 7 business days. If you need additional assistance, please reach out to me or another MOD. Thanks!

Best,

Rebecca

The same thing happened to me! Please advise me as to how I can get my money back asap -thank you

Re: Order didn’t go through, card charged.

I was charged on my debit card and then the order charge was reversed - confirmed with bank it was indeed charged and reversed

and now I was charged again without my authorization.

I need my refund processed immediately- Sephora is not authorized for charges on my card without my permission - just because you have my information doesn’t mean you can charge

Re: Order didn’t go through, card charged.

Hi @Keyran,

Sorry for any confusion! When you place an order, the initial authorization will drop from your account in 1-7 business days and the order will be charged to your account once it ships.  If you need further assistance please send me a private message with your registered email address.

Best,

Zakiya

I'm not sure where to post a review so I'm hoping you'll see this message tonight with my first order from Sephora and it took money off my card but did not send a confirmation I called the 1-800 number and it states that there is no order that I have placed but the money was still taken what do I do about this?

Re: Order didn’t go through, card charged.

@Anonymous I will take a look and send you a PM.
