Order Confirmed, Shipment Pending, Item Out Of Stock (VIB SALE)

I ordered within five minutes after midnight for the VIB sale, got my email confirmation, but order is still pending and now one of my items is out of stock. In the event my item that is out of stock is cancelled, will Sephora honor the 20% discount and send it to me when it’s restocked? Seems shady if popular items are limited in stock and run out so quickly during such a huge and well known sale.

That stinks. I am bummed because one minute Glamglw was for 100 points, when I tried to finish my order it was out:(

Oh, don't even get me started on the 100 point samples. The last two times I ordered (including this time), the CoverFX drops were out of stock again. So lame. Also, still no reply from customer service regarding the pending order and OOS item. Are all VIB sales this bad?

If you see an item you ordered is out stock, that won't affect your order. What you see is the current inventory of the item. If an item is out of stock at the time we fulfill your order, you will receive a cancellation notice via email. Hope this clarifies!
