Not the best in store checkout experience

Had a not-so-great check out experience at the MDR (L.A., CA) Sephora store. I’m rouge and it’s my birthday month. Neither of these facts were acknowledged upon check-out. No one asked if I wanted to choose a birthday gift, they didn’t tell me how many points I had, and Etc. In fact, she saw my two items and said, “that’s it” like I was somehow less for only buying two items. I only needed two things, deal. I’m rouge, obviously I buy a decent amount of product. Just not today.
Honestly, I would have overlooked the birthday thing and etc. I’m always the nicest to anyone in the service industry, and know that sometimes people have bad days. But the judge-y “that’s it”, stuck with me today. 


I know there isn’t much anyone can do, and I’m screaming into the void here, but… here we are
