No samples with online order

This seems to be an ongoing issue. I did not receive any samples with my order last week and for some in December as well (I thought because of the holidays).

When I did receive samples, they weren’t the ones I selected. I understand that samples run out, but they were substituted with a bunch of hair product samples I can’t use because I’m bald from chemotherapy. What’s more frustrating is when I visited the website a few days later, the same samples were available to choose from.

I realize these are just free samples, but they’re also incentives to purchase. And I’m fairly certain most of us are overspending at sephora.com on products we don’t “need.” I don’t leave the house often while on chemotherapy, and I’ll take the perks where I can find them. What is the resolution to this? I’m placing another order today, and I still see the same samples available.
