No price adjustment and no in store return

So I made a few (ok, a lot) of purchases at the start of this week's sale as a Rouge. The orders arrived on Nov 2 and it's Nov 5. Too bad that a few things have now gone on sale at 50% on Sephora.com

I called in and they won't do price adjustments because I bought the items more than 7 days ago. I want to return the items to a store and buy the same items online at the substantially lower price that they now have. It turns out Sephora doesn't give me an option to return in store for the online purchases. I asked why not and CS on chat refuses to help too.  Anybody can help here? I don't have easy access to Walgreens and FedEx stores which is the only option given to me.

If you are all wondering: Sephora's commitment to clean, sustainable practices doesn't go beyond trying to increase sales with gimmicks. They will throw away all the products that went on regular salebecause I returned them given that they refused to do a price adjustment on any of them. 

Makes me wonder what kind of corporate financial advantage they get from showing a higher income  (you are told to buy items at lower price again and return the other items), so they can have also a higher return $ going through loss.
