No points? Not our problem

So sad to see so many members of the community here who haven’t had the luxury in the last difficult year to make a purchase online or in store and are logging on to order a well deserved product or to redeem a birthday gift and go to check out only to find that all of their points have just disappeared. And it’s so upsetting that the only thing to be said is “Well points expire after 12 months what do you expect?” With no notice, no email warning nothing just gone. I think one of the most enticing parts of shopping with Sephora is the idea that you are part of a community that loves beauty just as much as you and you are rewarded for your loyalty for sticking with the community. I would have loved to spend the last year getting lost on the site or getting lost in store and I would have loved those few 600 points I looked forward to and earned. It’s unfortunate. And the most unfortunate part of it all is I’m just one voice here and this has happened to so many people and it breaks my heart it will happen to more something so small in the world today can really make or break someone’s day and I’m really sorry for that. It makes me think twice about returning and I don’t think I’ll be motivated to purchase or review here again any time this year.

We appreciate your feedback and apologize for the disappointment as points will expire after 12 consecutive months or more of account inactivity. You can keep your account active by making a purchase or redeeming a reward or the birthday gift. I'll take a look further and I'll send you a message.
