No more in-store samples?

Since the stores no longer offer in-store samples, we are essentially forced to buy the product and then go through the hassle of returning it if it doesn't work out. I'm a Rouge member and at the rate I buy products, I am now finding myself returning items more than ever. Is this going to flag me or look unfavorable as a customer now that we can't sample items before we purchase?
