No Birthday gift or samples

Sorry but it is so aggravating to receive offers that they have no intention of ever letting you receive them. What does that mean if you pick a nice offered perk Sephora offered you directly in Rewards Bazaar or your birthday gift and on the order screen it says not with this offer??? I don't get it. Just don't offer anything if you are not going to be giving it away. I wait all year for that birthday gift and you just tease me into making a purchase and don't send it to me anyway.  I'm sure I am not the only one who feels a little betrayed by this practice. The same kept happening at JC Penny where they would send me the greatest coupons and I would waste my time picking items I wanted only to find out the stupid discount did not work on any damn thing in the store. errrr. I dropped that store credit card like a hot potato and think i will with this one too, besides there are much cheaper places to do business that have fair deals and prices. See ya Sephora!
