New Website

What's the deal with your new website? Many links are broken or take me to blank pages. The menus drop down for a micro second.  I have to try several times before I can grab a link (that is then broken or a blank page).  Even my Beauty Talk links are broken!  However, Beauty Talk is the only thing that seems to work moderately well if I can get past the screen not scrolling or scrolling significantly past the next item.

 

I hope this is just a test run or an anomaly that will be fixed shortly (like within the next few hours).  I don't normally complain, but I don't like change and I don't like change that doesn't work.

I've tried 4 different browsers and it's been terrible on all of them, edge, explorer, firefox and chrome. It even slows down any other tabs I might have open and has crashed my browser a few times. I hope this gets fixed, I haven't been buying anything online because it's so difficult to do anything.

Me too - I tried on safari, chrome, mozilla and from my phone. All were pointless.

I've been trying to purchase from the website from a PC with Google Chrome for days (today is 10-24-17), and keep getting this (which I know has nothing to do with my computer):

Bad Request

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.
Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.

I have to agree.  I wanted to make a purchase from the website but due to the difficult of pages not loading, broken links, etc, I can't. Surely, this is having a business impact.  It seems like the website is being designed to be overly fancy instead of in a functional, customer-centric manner.  I'm really disappointed!

I'm noticing a trend in quite a few sites doing that very thing - trying to be fancy and new instead of focusing on remaining user-friendly - ie: dsw.com.  

 

Some of these companies will hurt their revenue assuming that newer is better instead of focusing on serving the customers.

I just tried to make a purchase from Sephora's main page and noticed there was no link to my basket. I clicked around for about 30 minutes trying to figure out how to make a purchase until I gave up and logged into beautytalk and lo and behold, there the icon and link was for my basket!

tldr; Long story short: there is no link to check out on the main page and several of the product pages on the website and you have to click around to get to a page that has a link.

I have given up trying to shop on the site. It is soooo slow. Fix it!!!

Nearly a month after the new website, and it's still so slow I can't even shop on it. What's the point of having the convenient flash shipping we pay for, if we're unable to shop????

Oh my goodness, the new website is EXTREMELY frustrating, Freezes, blank pages, constant refreshing to absolutely nothing loading, this is ridiculous. Might as well find some other site to shop until this is fixed. You'd think the IT team would be right on it but I had problems with the site a few weeks ago already and now I went there to shop again and I couldn't get anything to load at all so it just got worse.

I agree with all comments on the new website issues; terribly lagging, no A to Z search, but most of all terribly lagging!  These complaints are only going to get worse since we all know it is not the customer's computers that are a problem, it is the web design.  I would think it is imperative for your IT to take care of this.....please let us know, somehow, that you are looking into the problem!

This is crazy-making...I'm still getting error messages, except now they're popping up on the Weekly Specials as well as with specific items. And why is the list of brands still missing? It's impossible to order online--why is Sephora okay with this? I've tried Firefox and Safari--neither work.

Every time I go to shop, the site stops working. I haven't placed an order in a while and I won't until this gets fixed.

This new site is bogus. Nothing works and there is no A-Z Brands List. I like to see the complete list of brands all at once. The site is very laggy and has a lot of broken links. I also find the menu bar to be annoying to use. I don't like the many steps you have to take to get to one place. "Shop Categories" > wait 5 seconds for the bar to load > Makeup > wait more for it to load > select category > wait a minute for page to load...

 

Sephora, you know no one is enjoying this new website and are taking their business to Ulta instead, why won't you change back to the old site? At least while you fix the many issues this new one has.

Any updates on whether this is going to be fixed or not? I continue to get the 404 error (which I have received for over a week) and now when I type in a product name, it takes me to a page that says "we're sorry, an error has occurred."  Very frustrating!! Sephora needs to fix this; otherwise, I'm taking my money elsewhere.  Come on Sephora, you have women wanting to spend money on your site and we cannot!!

I thought I was the only one!! Sephora needs to get on this.  This website has been so frustrating to use these past couple weeks I have been trying so hard to get past all the issues.  Very frustrating.

Sephora, you need to fix this. Even this page isn't appearing correctly in my browser. Seriously, you'd think you could afford some programmers that know what they're doing.

I've got a gift card to spend and I can't because I can't get any of the pages I need to load. I just went over to Ulta.com and confirmed that the problem is your site, and not my computer.

Very annoyed and upset with the new Sephora site, thought it was me only then I see here so many vib and rouge customers having the same problems. Wow, so surprising this has not been fixed and has been going on as long as this has. Seriously excited to buy from Sephora but can't even find specific products when typing them in...can't even get to the value gifts page and constantly seeing the 404 error message. I wanted to give several positive reviews for products I just ordered and I cannot do that either. I have tried accessing the site through my log in then not logged in, through chrome and safari and the problems persist no matter which method I try to access it. Please fix your website, no longer a secret that it does not work.

This is awful and I am disappointed everyone is having the same issue as me. This 400 error and "WE’RE SORRY! An error was encountered while accessing the requested Resource", broken links are frustrating.

 

Fix this soon because I haven't shopped since the website update.

This website is frustrating. They took out the brands section in place for "up and coming brands" that don't even change. If I am looking for something I have to type the brand name in the search bar and filter from there. 
Not to mention, a lot of links do not work.

I hope they fix this soon. 

I like the new look but it's not as streamlined as it could be. They also did not announce they were changing the site, I just went on to the website on day and everything was different

Let me know when the website is fixed. You should send out emails to your customers to let them know. I can't believe how terrible it is. Bad timing when Ulta is improving their offerings for you to go this route. Huge customer and very disappointed that you don't listen to us, pretty much ever. I constantly get the 400 error on your website now, even after waiting for a while to try it again. Either the company is not doing well or they don't do their research. Either way, maybe you should go back to the old site until you get this one ready for your customers.

Still not working for me...I got excited because I was about to make a purchase and I keep getting a "400 request error" 😞
