New Sephora credit card not working

I was approved for a Sephora credit card while making a purchase last night. The temporary card was loaded onto my account but upon checking out I got an error message stating for security reasons I cannot use my card. This makes no sense. The ability to use the temporary card right now is the entire reason I applied. Well, that and the first purchase discount. Is this common? Seems odd and frustrating. How can I use my temporary card?

Hi, having the same problem. Did they give you a response as to why this is a reoccurring issue? And what is the solution? Especially since I see multiple complaints of this problem.
