Never Received $1700 Order – No Update for Over 2 Months

 

Hello,

 

I’m sharing my incredibly frustrating experience with Sephora regarding a $1700 order I placed over two and a half months ago. This was my first order with Sephora, and I never expected such a lack of communication and accountability from such a well-known brand.

 

I placed the order for same-day delivery, but it never arrived. The DoorDash driver assigned to my order uploaded a photo of what looks like a torn receipt as “proof of delivery,” but they never actually came to my address. I was never informed that DoorDash would be handling the delivery instead of Sephora directly, and I only found out after the order went missing.

 

As soon as I realized DoorDash was involved, I reached out to Sephora because I’ve had issues in the past with DoorDash deliveries. Given the high value of this order, I was extremely concerned. Unfortunately, my concerns turned out to be justified.

This entire experience has been beyond frustrating. Sephora chose the delivery provider, yet I’m the one expected to take the financial loss? How is that fair? If a company offers same-day delivery for such a high-value order, it should come with some level of responsibility and accountability.

 

I really hope Sephora takes this situation seriously and provides a resolution. At this point, I don’t know how I can trust them as a customer again.

 

Has anyone else dealt with something similar? Any advice on how to handle this would be appreciated.
