My order is still pending

I placed my order Friday (December 29th) and yet it’s Sunday Night almost Monday morning and my order is still pending? I only bought two products? I understand Sephora usually has shipping problems during the VIB sale but there’s no major promotion going on at the moment, so what’s happening?
