Whatever worked for you to get this fixed, I'm super curious. It looks like I'm totally out my money and nobody at Sephora can do anything about it. I see so many posts about the same thing, not only on this forum.

this is happening to me too. I have tried to call the support line but they were no help. I went into 3 stores and all of them said the barcode wouldn't scan. They seem to have genuinely felt bad about it, but also said there was nothing that could be done. This is a seriously flawed system, i wouldn't recommend that anyone buy these gift cards.
@ChillSF I'm so sorry to hear about this! If you're having trouble redeeming your eGift Card, I recommend contacting CashStar via phone at (866) 286-1262 once more between 8am and 12am ET. When contacting them, I recommend requesting to speak with a supervisor. Thank you!
I’ve got the same problem and it says it’s invalid when I’ve typed it 10 times tell me if it’s worked for anyone and any techniques to do it.

Hi. This is happening to me as well.
It only worked for me when I manually TYPED in all the numbers (gift cards and pin). I had the same error message when coping and pasting in the numbers (I even made sure there's no space when coping and pasting in the numbers). I hope typing in the numbers work for you.

Please review the tips listed below when using your Beauty Insider 2014 Holiday Reward Card for an online order through Sephora.com:
• The 2014 Sephora Holiday Reward Card can be redeemed as a gift card.
• The 16 digit redemption number is located on the bottom of the reward card.
• The 8 digit PIN is located at the top of the gift card in large print.
• $50 minimum purchase is required.
• Reward Card offer is for one-time use only.
• Offer may not be applied to previous purchases, eGift Certificates, Gift Cards, shipping or taxes.
• From the Checkout page of your online order, click on the Edit button in the Promotions and Gift Card section. Then click on the “+” symbol in the section titled “Use a Gift Card or eGift Certificate.” Then enter your Gift Card number and PIN number and be sure to click on “Apply”.
• Click the “Save Changes” button in lower right corner of the Payment area. You will see the Gift Card amount deducted from your total order on the right side of the page.
If you have any issues after following the above listed steps, please call us at 1-877-SEPHORA so that we can ensure that your holiday reward card is applied to your order.
I've tried everything to use my gift card, and I mean EVERYTHING. I will manually type out every number, but it still says invalid code every time

The same thing has happened to me. I have tried everything. The support line is of zero help and they do not care at all about the situation. I'm trying everything and anything but nobody in this organization appears to care at all.

i also just had this issue!!
If possible try uploading your giftcard to the Sephora app and then got back onto your web browser!! Once you refresh it its should be there!!

If you're receiving an "invalid" message, I recommend ensuring that all 16 digits of the card number, and all 8 digits of the pin have been scratched off. Sometimes, there can be extra numbers hiding at the end. If that doesn't seem to be the issue, we will look into it further for you.
