Missing samples

I’ve placed many orders with Sephora. I always choose 3 free samples to be delivered with the order. Sometimes I receive the samples I chose, sometimes I receive different samples than what I’ve chosen. I assume this has to do with limited stock quantities, although it is disappointing. Often times rather than receiving three samples in total I receive one or two, which may consist of what I’ve chosen... or not.  This time I revived NONE. Not even any substitutions or short orders. Why?
