Missing Items, packing slip discrepancy

Has anyone ever had an order arrive with like less than half the items you ordered? I placed an order for 9 things at once during the sale, which came/are coming in 3 boxes. In the first box I received 3/7 items but the packing slip stated all 7 were in there. I contacted customer service and they said because I had requested 2 reshipments in the past for other items that were missing, that it had to be escalated to Shipment Research. Has anyone had this type of request declined by Shipment Research? Or like maybe received the rest of their items in another box because the packing slip was wrong? I’m out almost $200 if it’s declined. I was so excited for this order. Almost everything in my life the last month has just gone horribly wrong and I just wanted to splurge on some retail therapy. This is a lot more money than I usually spend at one time. They said they would get back to me in 48 hours but I’m just so anxious and wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
