Missing Items In Order

So I have been buying things instore for years and I recently just made my first online order.

I ordered 12 items, and when I went to open my package, only 1 item was in the box.

At first I thought there might be another shipment but there was not, also there was no packing slip in the box which I thought was strange.

 

So I contacted support thinking this would be an easy fix and I was wrong.

At first they said I had to wait 48 hours for a review and so I did and I got this email:

 

Thank you for contacting us regarding an issue with your order #xxxxx

After careful consideration of your account and any previous accommodations made, we are not able to assist with a replacement or refund for this order.

We welcome you to continue shopping with us, but please note that any orders placed will be at your own risk. If you place orders for delivery to this or other addresses, we may not offer a replacement, refund or accommodation for any potential order issues in the future.

If you received a damaged item, please create a return label and send it back to us. We will process a refund once it’s received and verified at our distribution center.

We appreciate your understanding.

So they sent me one item and refuse to give me my money back because of their mistake? What kind of company is this?

And so I called them and the support told me that the distribution company they work with I guess said that it was strange only one item was sent so they refused to refund or send me a new order.

I do not understand how that is my fault. And now they just stole my money.

 

What do I do PLEASE HELP I had no issues with them in-store, just online
