Missing Insider Points.

I just attempted to make a purchase and added a 500 point reward to my cart.  I have the flash shipping option, I got an error saying I did not belong to any shipping group.  I closed out my browser and tried to repurchase, it said my cart was empty and my points were gone but when I checked my orders, the order did not go through.  How do I fix this? Was it a glitch. I had over 1000 points, now it says I only have 598.
