Missing/Damaged Samples

Hi,

I ordered some items online that ended up being over $50, so I tossed in a promo code for one of the sample makeup bags (the Mid-Season sampler, I believe) and was so excited to be trying out the sample of dark brown ABH brow wiz that was going to be sent to me. I knew it would be that colour because I had clicked the item and it showed up as dark brown. I received my package today and I'm so upset because the little box was in there, but it seems as if my sample was used or damaged because there is no product in the actual pencil and there was no lid. Also the sample said "soft brown" on the box which was kind of disappointing since they had indicated it would be dark brown when I was checking out. I have black hair, so I was really excited for dark brown but got none instead! Can I return this or exchange it for another sample at Sephora?

It's supposed to be like that. You have to pull it open and reattach it the other way around. The end with the writing is the cap and doubles as the handle. ๐Ÿ™‚
