Missed birthday gift during birthday month

I had this years birthday gift added to my shopping bag and mistakenly thought I could get it later this year with my next purchase. It just sent me the error: "Sorry, an unexpected error happened during your basket validation. The following message(s) is the part of the error: You have already redeemed this item or are not yet eligible, check back in your birthday month.. Please review your merchandises in the basket and try to submit order again." Is there still a way to receive my gift or do I have to miss out this year? 😞

Birthday gifts are only valid during the month of your birthday online. However, I've seen people redeem their birthday gift months after their birthday in stores. If you live near Sephora, I'd recommend just asking them the next time you're there @nolameg.
