Makeup forever flash pallet

SO...... , I have been stalking the flash pallet for a couple if years now I wouldn't use it for everyday makeup ( the odd correction maybe) but more for SFX/Halloween makeup. The only thing is what would I set it with?? Can I use a translucent powder? Should I use eyeshadow to keep the colours intense? Or do I need to use a setting spray like the urban decay one?
