Lost/stolen package

My package was delivered to the wrong apartment by mistake and the lady who lived there was moving soon. When our apartment manager contacted her she admitted that she opened the package knowing it wasn't addressed to her and she still has the contents but had thrown away the box. When we asked if she would return them (I offered to pay her for shipping) she refused and said she knows longer knew where they are. So basically she decided rather than taking it to the apartment management she would keep all the stuff in my package! I filed a claim with UPS, so maybe I'll get the value of the products I paid for back, but I had redeemed my reward points for several samples and I obviously can't get those back. Would Sephora be willing to replace the sample items in my order?
