Lost gift card!!! Help!

I recently returned an item and they had given me a gift card for it since i had originally bought the item on a gift card. However as i opened my wallet just now to use the gift card for the purchase i was gna make. I dont see the gift card. Is there anything that can be done about it if i have proof?

I am sorry to hear about your gift card! Gift cards are treated as cash and they cannot be replaced once they have been lost.
