Lost/Stolen Package

I recently placed an order with Sephora during the sale worth $320 which is currently missing and my tracking says it was delivered on 8th November at 1:33pm but I can’t find it anywhere. The package was left on the front door as per tracking information and on asking Sephora for help, all they say is “Our system don’t allow a refund or a reshipment”. I wonder how someone could leave a package of that value just outside the door without getting anything signed from you for the receivable. 
I already checked with my care taker as well as neighborhood but nobody received anything from Sephora. We do have two similar apartment buildings with same apartment numbers which makes it highly possible that it may have been delivered to same apartment number in other building but on asking they claimed nothing under my name. I really feel helpless at the moment.
Can anyone please help me as I was really looking forward to my package.
I do have another coming up worth $250, fingers crossed for that.
