Lost Beauty Insider Points

Like many others, I also recently was shocked to discover that all of my Beauty Insider points (at least 2500+) that I've been saving for 7-8 years were just gone without any notice or warning from Sephora. 

 

Is there anything that can be done? I gladly appreciate all the help I can get on this! Had I known that this would happen, I would've done something (online and safely) to have prevented it since going into a retail location hasn't been exactly easy/wise due to COVID.

Wanted to start shopping again too following my vaccine and getting my job back during COVID, responsibly. Log in to my Sephora account and 1420 points gone. Sephora closes for months during a pandemic shutdown, then takes away your points for “inactivity” ? I really hope I get my points back, I’ve been shopping here for years and I’m not happy.

Sorry to hear about this. Points only expire if your account has been inactive for 12 consecutive months or more. You can keep your account active by making a purchase or redeeming a perk or the birthday gift. I'll take a look into this then send you a PM.

After being a loyal customer for over 10 years and to lose over 1500 pts because I haven’t shopped in the past year is disheartening. If not for the pandemic, I might understand but these are extenuating circumstances. It’s just sad.

I lost 1050 points too.  I called and they told me it was because I didn’t shop during the past 12 months during the pandemic.  They refused to do anything. Even during the pandemic they don’t care.  I’m glad I found out this is how they care for their customers.  I was in the process of checking out when I noticed they were gone.

They lost a customer.  I will be shopping at BlueMercury and Ulta.

I'm sorry for the trouble as points will expire after 12 consecutive months of account inactivity. You can keep your account active by making a purchase or redeeming a reward or the birthday gift. I'll take a look further and I'll send you a message.
