I am livid! I have been a loyal VIB member and Sephora enthusiast for countless years and a super shopper pre-pandemic. Can we say thousands of points?? Well imagine my shock as I made it into a Sephora location yesterday and asked them to add a 100 point gift (Did you hear me say 100???) only to be told I didn’t have sufficient points for that. I made them check twice and the sales associate told me that points do not expire. I asked to speak to a manager who said that due to inactivity my points were in fact gone but could not tell me when it occurred or when I would have been notified. 
I am a healthcare worker and recent mother of twins so beauty purchases have not been my focus . What was supposed to be a wonderful “treat Mommy” day quickly went from joy to disappointment to disgust. I expected better, Sephora. You just lost one of your biggest loyalists and ambassadors.

I'm sorry to hear about your points.

Points will expire if your account has been inactive for 12 consecutive months or more. You can keep your account active by making a purchase or redeeming a reward  or the birthday gift. I'll look into this then send you a PM.
