Latest Gift Card Fraud scam Victim

I called and spoke with Sephora's customer service to file a report over the phone on Tuesday, Jan 13th 2026 after having been scammed into buying three Sephora gift cards. I gave all the info to Sephora and was told I'd hear back in 48hrs.  This was Tuesday.  It's now going on Wednesday the following week. 
 
I was told I'd at least receive an email acknowledging my report over the phone as well as follow-up. I've had no calls or emails from Sephora.  Every time I call, I get transferred around repeatedly.  Sephora doesn't provide too much assistance during events like this.  In fact they seem particularly unhelpful.

A little follow up...  Got online with chat support tonight.  They claimed they followed up on the 13th... except they never did.  And yes - I checked both Inbox and Spam folders.

 

Sephora has no motivation to help at all.  Took 5 days, of digging on my own, to find out that Sephora was useless in this case.
