Kinda bummed

I was super excited to try some new samples. I selected three that looked good understanding that one or more could be substituted. I got my order today. I got one sample and it wasn't anything I would even use. Does this happen often?

This thread has been moved to the Customer Support group. I'm sorry to hear that you did not receive the samples you selected! Please note that substitutions can be made for samples that are unavailable at the time of fulfillment, and I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Yes, I had this happen a lot last year.  Of three orders, only one had samples and they weren't the selections I requested.  Customer service was understanding and offered points to make yp for the two orders with missing samples at least.  I also ordered an online product while in store to be delivered to my house (they didn't have the product in the store).  I got three samples with that order, which surprised me as I had less luck with samples when I ordered online directly.  Plus, you can request samples while in store.  The only downside is that they may take the samples from the tester products, but not always

Has been happening a lot lately. I order a lot online and either get nothing or something random I’d never use. I’m still trying to figure out why they even give us options to choose from. 😞
