Kids at Sephora

I cannot with the the kids at sephora that are younger than 12 years old. I was sadly a witness of how horribly the employees and customers are treated. The area at Drunk Elephant is the worst part of it all. They do not clean after themselves, destroy the testers, and open the new products in its packaging. I think Sephora needs to also be a little more aware of what products they're using on their skin. I was at sephora with my mom and I a girl was crying really loudly and the whole store could here it. The mom was arguing with her about what products she put in the basket. The worst part was that the girl was 7 years old and her mom out back Drunk Elephant Retinol serum. I think the parents let them buy whatever they want because they're kids and they live once; when they should let their kids enjoy their youths while they still have time. I think a good idea would be to put a kids section in sephora with popular brands that aren't dangerous to their faces. Sorry for writing a lot but just sharing my opinion.

Re: Kids at Sephora

I understand that some of them are very rude but I have no problem with kids trying skincare and makeup. And I started liking makeup and skincare when I was 9. Plus,Drunk Elephant is fine for kids but parents need to be monitoring their kids. But if they are hitting you or threatening you for some reason, please tell a Sephora employee. #nicesephorakids are ok. Thank you for your time reading this.

Re: Kids at Sephora

personally i think it’s ok for tweens over the age of 12 going as long as they r not ruining the testers hashing their skin and sometimes they go to shop for kids and just to have fun in general

Re: Kids at Sephora

Yea,I tottaly agree. They should just be respectful.

Re: Kids at Sephora

Personaly, I do not think that it is fair that bratty 10 year olds get to ruin my Sephora trip. The sadder thing is, that this does not just happen at Sephora this happens at Ulta Beauty too!

Re: Kids at Sephora

I definitely agree. There are so many younger kids who leave the Sephora with lots of ruined or messed up displays. I know it isn’t everyone who is doing it but unfortunately if they are in the age range, they are usually stereotyped.

Re: Kids at Sephora

It’s awful! I’ve had to just stop going to Sephora - which leaves shopping online but I’ve just lost so much respect for Sephora at this point refusing to enforce any type of policy around allowing kids under a specific age in without at least a parent that I’ve moved on to get my skincare and cosmetics elsewhere - which is a shame - I’ve been a long time customer and used to love shopping there but that’s history. 😞

Re: Kids at Sephora

Same, I only go online now, but I’ve noticed those same kids have infiltrated the product reviews. It’s absolutely impossible to know if anything is decent. One thing id truly love to know, bc half of them are claiming this, who is sending literal CHILDREN these products made for GROWN ADULT skin… for free?!

Re: Kids at Sephora

For real I'm 16 and it's wild! I try to get something and the 5 year Olds hit me!!!>:(

Re: Kids at Sephora

That happened to me too! It's not right to hit other people!

Re: Kids at Sephora

i am a teenager, and i think the obsession with drunk elephant is ridiculous especially since most of these products aren’t safe for your skin. i know all the drops and basically the simple things like shampoo or even the lala retro cream are safe. however, most of these girls my age are obsessed with them. i kind of think its the equivalent of the stanley craze but with skincare. either way teens and little kids need to stop ruining their skin barriers. also, whenever i go into sephora its mostly girls my age and even some younger than me, and i always get dirty looks for not looking like them lol. anyway, the whole drunk elephant thing will prob die down in like 6 months.
