It is all over Facebook that Sephora is firing Christian employees and those that support Trump. Anyone know if this is true.?

I mean a) they fired her after she came out as conservative and b)  they lied and said it wasn't about politics but then there is literally evidence that they said they don't align with the "MAGA" values. So that tells me all I need to know. MAGA does not = the capitol riots. If anyone thinks Trump incited that riot they didn't listen to his speech themselves and are just believing what they are told. Go listen to it and think for yourselves.

@kaygeene I highly doubt it's true. Some folks are up in arms about Sephora cutting ties with one beauty influencer because she supports the January 6 insurrection attack on the US Capitol. There's no Sephora war against Christian employees or shoppers, good grief. I'm sure plenty of Christian conservatives—even some who shop or work at Sephora—are against the January 6 failed coup attempt. 🤷‍♀️

that is not true, her tweet was before the riots, had nothing to do w the violence, they fired her because she is a Trump supporter, they didn't care about the facts, and let me see who they cancelled during a year of burning and violent rioting? Did they cancel anyone during any of those?

1. Recheck the timing of that beauty influencer’s tweets. 

2. Pick a better (actually equal) “but what about when [some other thing] happened” comparison. Example: pick another violent coup attempt against the US government. 

3. This beauty influencer was not a Sephora employee. 

4. Please don’t equate “Christian,” “republican,” and “Trump supporter.” Plenty of folks in the first 2 categories don’t support the previous president. 

5. The thread author asked if Sephora was firing Christian employees and employees who support the previous president. The answer to both questions seems to be no. Sephora is not doing a religion-based purge of employees, and I doubt they’re firing employees simply because they’re republicans (or democrats, for that matter). I also doubt Sephora is firing employees who support the previous president, though the company might take issue with the Jan. 6 insurrection. 🤷‍♀️

Honeybun, that's not what the title of this very thread says. Amanda is not an employee, she's an "influencer" who had a partnership with Sephora. And her partnership was ended not because she's a Christian or a conservative. It was ended because she was gleeful over a domestic terror attack against the US government.

She was not gleeful about the violence. Check out her instagram (if u have it) that provides timelines of when she made her popcorn tweet and the capitol riots happened. It's all a lie that Sephora used as a reason to cut her off. Sephora just needs to admit they dumped her for her political or religious views instead of false and baseless info they get from trolls. I am ok with them not working with her but they need to be honest of the WHY.

Do more research if you honestly don't feel she was gleeful. Her tweet about popcorn came after several retweets about the violence that had already started that day. Check her twitter timeline. She's lying thru her teeth on instagram and people are buying it, which would be hilarious if it wasn't incredibly sad.
