Is Tester Makeup used for Custom Makeovers?

I am planning on getting a custom makeover at Sephora, but I noticed the makeup used for makeovers is used. Do the just use the makeup that is out for everyone to test? Is this hygienic?

Oh and I do false lashes. They apply the make up in a sanitary way however the testers are left out for the public to contaminate.

This is why I bring my own mascara for makeovers. I don’t trust the public and am scared of getting an eye infection!

Yes, the make up used during a custom make over is the display/tester make up in the store. Whenever I have had my make up done, if I think i'm going to like the suggested shade of lipstick/liner, I'll just buy new ones so they can apply fresh ones to my lips otherwise I come with my own.
