I am new to Sephora and have just recently started using the products . I have read so many good results of people getting samples.

why when I have ask for samples I get an excuse every time I’m in the store. I have spent a large amount of money the last 2 month on new products and still my local store acts like it is awful to ask for a sample. 2 of the products I bought I was advised on by employees and I do not like them if I would of had samples this would not be a problem. I see where some get samples of all kinds and no excuses. If I had a choice to try another store I would but I already 45 min from this one . I feel like maybe the employees may be using or keeping them. It’s not just me others have questioned shy we don’t receive samples. I know I have spent plenty on products so what is the problem?

I saw  video of one girl on youtube, she works in sephora. So when they start to work in sephora store, as a present they are getting plastic bag (so security can clearly see what do they take with them), and they can take with them just 5 cosmetic items. It means that they can't take any samples, and I don't think there is a need! Each month they are getting a bag of full size goodies! You can check their review on youtube.

Sephora employees get gratis like crazy. When you are in store and ask for a sample, they don't have sample packettes of each product - for skincare they have tiny plastic containers they will give you a squirt of product in. Most of us who get samples don't get them from shopping in store, we get them from ordering online where before you checkout you get to pick 3 samples.
